If you’re up for something different, something that feels raw, wild, and totally Bali, this volcano jeep adventure is it. No hiking, no stress. Just hop in a 4WD jeep and cruise across the slopes of Mount Batur. You’ll ride through black lava fields, dusty black sand trails, and even pass by local farms along the way. It’s bumpy, fun, and packed with views that feel straight out of another planet.

We kick things off with a drive through Kintamani’s highland farms. You’ll see local farmers working the land, planting onions, cabbages, and chilies with Mount Batur towering in the background. Cool air, quiet roads, it’s a refreshing way to start.

Then we hit the black lava fields. These rugged, rocky landscapes were formed from Batur’s past eruptions. The lava looks wild, sharp, dark, and dramatic. We’ll stop for photos, climb a few lava mounds, and just take it all in. It’s one of the most unique terrains in Bali.

Next, it’s time for some real fun, off-roading through the black sand dunes. The jeep kicks up dust as we weave through hills and slopes. It’s not extreme, but it’s enough to make you smile (and maybe scream a little if you sit in the back!).

Along the way, we’ll stop at some panoramic viewpoints to catch epic shots of the volcano and Lake Batur down below. The air is fresh, the vibe is chill, and there’s not a crowd in sight.
